The much-anticipated journey is scheduled to commence on May 27th from the Delhi Safdarjung railway station. Badrinath (Uttarakhand): The journey will encompass a visit to the revered Badrinath temple, nestled in the Himalayas. Pilgrims will also have the opportunity to explore the mystical Mana Village, considered the last Indian village before the Indo-Tibetan border, and the significant religious center of Joshimath, known for its ancient monasteries and as a gateway to several Himalayan pilgrimages.
Rishikesh (Uttarakhand): Serving as a spiritual prelude to the Char Dham, the itinerary includes a visit to Rishikesh, the “Yoga Capital of the World,” known for its ashrams, temples, and the holy Ganges River.
Jagannath Puri (Odisha): The train will transport devotees to the eastern dham of Jagannath Puri, home to the magnificent Jagannath Temple, one of the holiest Vaishnavite sites. Rameshwaram (Tamil Nadu): The southern leg of the yatra will take pilgrims to Rameshwaram, an island town holding immense religious significance due to the famous Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and believed to be established by Lord Rama.
