Maa-An Angel From Heaven

Angela was a girl of age 16. She aspired to be the world’s renowned fashion model. She practised day and nightto perfect her flair. She was distant from her mother and found her selfish, as she only cared about her career and never found any time to spend with the family. On the other hand, her father was her biggest fan and supporter and was always there for her during her time of urgency. He was the apple of her eye.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck. When she was 15, her father passed away due to a severe lung disorder. She was devastated. Observing her state of mind, her mother went up to her and said “It’s going to be okay.” However, Angela retaliated and screamed “It will never be okay, and it’s all your fault!” Losing her father drove her insane. She started going out with disturbing company and got addicted to to drugs and alcohol. She lost her sanity. Every day she argued with her mother, and in the end, she shouted “I hate you! I wish you would die!” Her mother, reduced to tears, ran away. Then unexpectedly, she fainted. When Angela woke up, she found herself in ‘Heidelberg Hospital for the Chronically Ill. Right beside her was her mother. She asked “What happened?” Her mother replied “You fainted and went into a coma. I didn’t run away. I went outside for some fresh air and when I came back, you had fainted. I hurried you to the hospital immediately and I stayed by your side for 3 days.” Angela, with tears welled up in her eyes, hugged her mother and sobbed “I’m so sorry. I should have never screamed at you. I love you so much. I’m so sorry for all the trouble I caused you.” Her mother said in a calm tone “You have no reason to apologize. This is just how life works. Never forget that I love you and I always will. Whatever you need, I’m here for you.” After a few days, Angela was discharged from the hospital, and began to live merrily and gaily with her mother.

The moral from this heartwarming reunion between a mother and her daughter is that motherly love has an irreplaceable value. They have been bestowed a gift by the Almighty to create life for the existence of the future generations. They are the guiding light that helps us overcome any barricades.We must understand and appreciate the unconditional love that these divine angels embody.The sacrifices they make are for the betterment and prosperity of our life. They are our lifeline and we must cherish the moments we have with them forever, because it is these moments which make living life worthwhile.
