New Maruti Baleno 2022: Features, specifications and more

Maruti Suzuki has officially started accepting bookings for its much-awaited, technologically advanced premium hatchback the “New Age Baleno”. The booking amount has been set to Rs 11,000. You can book the new Baleno through the Maruti Suzuki Nexa website or by going to a Nexa dealership. The official launch of the Baleno Facelift will happen in the second half of February.

The manufacturer also revealed the new tagline of the Baleno. It is ‘Tech Goes Bold’ so we know that Maruti Suzuki will be adding a lot of features to the new Baleno. The first teaser released, reveals the first-in-segment Head-Up Display (HUD) which will provide an immersive driving experience. The HUD feature allows customers to drive without having to take their eyes off the road by conveniently displaying important information from the speedometer, climate control etc. Maruti Suzuki is also emphasizing the safety of the new Baleno. So, we expect it to come with up to 6 airbags at least on the top-end variant.

The current Baleno comes with dual airbags, an Anti-lock braking system with Electronic Brake Distribution, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminders, high-speed warning and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

New Baleno 2022 colours

According to media reports, there will be 6 colour options in the new Baleno. These are – Pearl Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Celestial Blue, Opulent Red, Luxe Beige.
