Bajaj Auto has launched the Chetak 3503, the most affordable variant in its new 35 Series electric scooter lineup, priced at ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) . This model offers a compelling blend of performance and practicality, making it a strong contender in the electric scooter market.This new variant was launched on April 29, 2025.
Design and build
The Chetak 3503 retains the iconic metal body construction, distinguishing it from many plastic-bodied competitors. It features a new platform with an extended wheelbase and a wider floorboard, enhancing comfort and stability. The seat length has been increased by 80 mm, providing more legroom for riders.

Deliveries for the Bajaj Chetak 3503 are expected to begin in the first week of May 2025. It will compete with other affordable electric scooters in the Indian market like the TVS iQube 3.4, Ola S1X+, and Ather Rizta S.
The Chetak 3503 aims to be a more accessible option in the electric scooter market while still offering a decent range and essential features. However, to achieve this lower price point, it misses out on some features found in the higher-end Chetak 3501 and 3502 variants, such as sequential turn indicators and front disc brakes.
